Another huge digitally zoomed photo which I didn't realise was happening, this time slightly pulled back from maximum zoom, and this is the complete frame vastly reduced for clarity and upload. I rather like the graduation in colours here. Thanks in advance for comments and My gallery and all the images contained therein are Copyright ©2006-2009 AnnaKirsten. All rights reserved. Critiques
The DOF is perfect, picking out just what should be seen and leaving the background blurred to the point its just a back colour.
Then we look at the detail of the water drop, most would try and simply go for clear water but here we can see the details reflecting back and within these details there is much to see.
The colour tones are great, just the right amount of green and the framing is good too, I have a tendency not to follow the rules as they are called and here, where others would have been tempted to centre the water drop its been left to the right. For me that adds impact.
Great shot, makes me think its about time I invested in a macro lens.
